Module 7: Using Dynamic Assessment when writing Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs)

As the title suggests, this online module looks at how you can use Dynamic Assessment when asked to provide professional advice for an EHC needs assessment. There are a number of considerations that should be made but the intention is to demonstrate that there are various options other than the use of standardised assessment when asked to contribute to an EHC needs assessment. This workshop is delivered by Dr Fraser Lauchlan (Educational Psychologist) and Marguerite Haye (Specialst Teacher and SEND assessor), who together offer a unique take on the EHC Needs Assessment process from two different professional perspectives, but always with a focus on Dynamic Assessment.
