Rethink Learning using DA course + certification programme package

This one-day online training is an invaluable opportunity for all educational psychologists and related professionals. We focus on improving your practice skills in dynamic assessment, drawing on some of the content from our first four modules – click here for more details. The training will illustrate the practical approach outlined in our published textbooks, using multimedia to show how the resource materials can be applied to real life cases. Fee includes a copy of Applying Dynamic Assessment in Schools. The certification programme is designed to support you through the application of practice. Group supervision is provided online every 6-8 weeks over a 2-year period, leading to a British Psychological Society approved certificate in Dynamic Assessment practice.

This training and certificate programme is for those who may already have some experience in using dynamic assessment and/or have attended previous training but who wish to develop their skills further in how to put DA into practice. The approved certification is designed to support professionals in developing their practice skills in DA after completing the training.

The BPS approved certification (approved through the British Psychological Society’s CPD Quality Mark Scheme) includes:

• full access to DA UK website including live forum for the exchange of ideas and resources with other DA practitioners
• attendance at our regular ‘drop in’ sessions, offering group supervision for those who are completing the Advanced Level certificate, led by Dr Fraser Lauchlan, director of DA-UK
• BPS approved certificate on completion of ‘evidence of practice’ report. This must be submitted within 2 years of receiving initial training/registration, otherwise refresher training will be required. See website for further details
